Paula a une expertise reconnue en immobilier, construction et en règlement des conflits d’affaires.

Elle a exercé pendant de nombreuses années chez August & Debouzy et Brunswick puis a fondé sa propre structure et rejoint BERRYLAW en janvier 2023.

Paula accompagne des institutionnels, pour certains cotés au CAC 40, des ETI ou des PME, leurs problématiques dans le domaine de la construction, de l’acquisition ou de l’exploitation immobilière, qu’il s’agisse de leur activité principale ou une activité support de leurs métiers ; Paula intervient également dans le règlement des différends que ses clients peuvent rencontrer.

Elle assiste, conseille et représente ses clients pour les sujets relatifs à l’acte de construire, l’immobilier, les baux commerciaux et les litiges de haut de bilan ou commerciaux.

Inscrite au Barreau de Paris depuis 1998, Paula est titulaire d’un Master de l’Université Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne.

ETIENNE PUJOL • Partner

EMPLOYMENT LAW

Etienne manages our employment law department and provides legal advice and litigation services to help resolve your HR issues.

A practising lawyer since 1998, Etienne started his career at a US law firm before joining De Gaulle Fleurance in 2003 to set up the firm’s employment law department. He later helped set up and develop the employment law departments of Granrut, then STCPartners law firms. In January 2020, he co-founded BERRYLAW.

Backed by his track record, Etienne’s expertise covers both individual (hiring, contract termination, pay, etc.) and collective issues (company agreements, internal rules of procedure, staff representatives, etc.). He assists company directors and HRDs find practical solutions to their most pressing needs.

He also advises the other members of the firm in settlement matters related to all aspects of employment law.

Etienne holds a Master II in international business law and a Master II in international law from Aix-Marseille III University. He also holds an LLB from University College London.

He is a lecturer at the Paris Bar School and Dauphine University.

Paul-Marie Schneider •
Partner

Paul-Marie leads the private client department. He practices in the area of  wealth taxation, structuring the professional and private assets of managers and business owners, family transfers and estate planning, international wealth strategy, and tax litigation.

Member of the Paris bar since 2012, Paul-Marie holds a Master 2 in business and taxation. He started working for STC Partners and joined BERRYLAW in 2021.

Over the last ten years, he has been advising French and non-French tax residents in the context of their operations (sale, acquisition, heritage transmission, impatriation, expatriation, exit tax) and restructuring of their professional and personal inheritance (gift, inheritance, Dutreil agreement, will, trust, family governance). He also assists in the context of art purchase and sale and the artists and sportspeople in the structuring of their worldwide remuneration.

He often advises family groups and their shareholders in their governance structure and for their charity projects in close collaboration with the corporate team.

As a tax expert, he advises in real estate-related incomes and operations.Paul-Marie Schneider regularly publishes in legal publications (La Revue Fiscale du Patrimoine, Defrénois, and the Revue Française de Comptabilité).

Stéphanie provides advice and litigation services in the areas of employment law and welfare protection.

IMember of the Paris Bar since 2011, Stéphanie began her career at STCPartners law firm before contributing to building BERRYLAW.

Stéphanie advises French and foreign companies on all aspects of employment law related to their operations in France (collective bargaining, staff transfers, Sunday working, etc.). She also assists investment funds with their investment and divestment transactions

Stéphanie handles matters related to individual and collective employment relations, employee savings schemes, welfare protection and immigration in France and worldwide, providing assistance with daily needs by combining legal analysis with operational issues.

Stéphanie holds a Master 2 in private business law, from Paris-Est Créteil University (UPEC).

GASPARD REVEL •
Associate

Gaspard practises in the areas of corporate law and M&A.

Member of the Paris Bar since 2020, after completing a series of internships at French and international law firms Gaspard joined BERRYLAW as an associate.

Gaspard works mainly on M&A and private equity transactions. He works alongside French and international corporate clients, advising their management teams on M&A transactions, investments, joint ventures and company carve-outs.

Gaspard holds an LL.M of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master’s degree from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.

Gwilherm Le Bras • Associate

Admitted to the Paris Bar since 2018, Gwilherm began his career at Meridian Avocats. He joined Berrylaw in 2024.
Gwilherm’s practice focuses on real estate litigation, especially for cases dealing with construction issues, commercial leases and real estate sales. He also assists clients in negotiating and structuring real estate operation. Additionally, he assists clients in some of their commercial and business law disputes.
Gwilherm holds a Master II in Business Law and Taxation from the University of Paris II Panthéon Assas.

ANNAELLE LOUSQUY •

Annaelle practises in the area of corporate tax.

Member of the Paris Bar since 2011, Annaelle began her career at STCPartners law firm before contributing to building BERRYLAW.

She assists the firm’s French and international clients with the tax aspects of M&A transactions and with regard to LBO transactions. Annaelle also advises investment fund clients on investment and divestment transactions.

She handles all tax aspects of internal corporate reorganisations (mergers, business transfers, demergers, etc.), liaising closely with her clients’ financial advisers.

Annaelle holds a Master’s degree in accounting and finance and a Master 2 in corporate tax from Paris Dauphine University. She also holds a DSCG post-graduate diploma in accounting and financial management.
